RETENS System for Corrugated
ReTens is a tension control system designed for corrugated board production. It regulates web tension at the exit of the corrugator bridge before the layers are joined together. By maintaining stable and precise tension, ReTens helps minimize material waste and prevent production downtime.
The system consists of an EP 25 electro-pneumatic control panel equipped with a standard TOne controller, allowing operators to easily adjust and maintain the optimal web tension. It also includes a pair of CF flanges or CK shafts fitted with load cells to monitor web tension, along with a Combiflex or Extreme pneumatic brake.
