The Model 955 and 956 Pneumatic Safety Chucks are designed for rewinding and unwinding roll materials using expanding air shafts. Their practical design simplifies roll loading and unloading without requiring direct movement of the air shaft.
Featuring a sliding disc opening with both sliding and axial movement, these models are available in light-duty and heavy-duty versions to accommodate different load capacities and operating requirements. They can be configured with either a rotating or fixed head and offer square-to-square or square-to-round coupling options. Depending on the application, the units can be supplied with a shaft or handwheels.
A range of tilting and sliding safety chuck models is available to suit various load requirements and machine configurations.
