The Model 951 Self-Closing Mechanical Safety Chuck is designed for rewinding and unwinding roll materials using expanding air shafts. Its practical design allows rolls to be loaded and unloaded easily without requiring direct movement of the air shaft.
Featuring a sliding disc opening with both sliding and axial movement, this model is available in light-duty and heavy-duty versions to accommodate different load capacities and operational requirements. It supports square-to-square and square-to-round coupling configurations and can be supplied with either a shaft or handwheels, depending on the application.
A variety of tilting and sliding safety chuck models is available to meet different load requirements and machine configurations.
For installation flexibility, all models can be mounted either on a foot or via a flange, making them suitable for integration into various industrial machinery setups.
